Phototherapy Treatment and Skin Burn

Hi everyone, hoping you may have some words of wisdom I have my 15 ubv phototherapy session yesterday (60 joules of light).I have been lucky previously and other than some rosy cheeks no reaction. However yesterday within 5 hours, my skin was very pink and my psoriasis patches very red, hot and itchy. I know this can happen, but what I have struggled with is how to calm it down . I have moisturised a lot, kept out of the sun today, and worn light clothing...but it's still very angry and itchy. Has anyone else had this, and found a really good solution Big thanks karen

You probabaly got broadband UVB that burns the skin easily. And the dose is probably 60 mili joules not 60 joules. There are much better lamps that you can use at home 5 minutes a day. You can contact me directly to gilteva@gmail.com
